About Me:

Impact

Jenny's reflection

here is a picture of my home-page, if that is what you mean in the third question

1) As part of the zazengo CyberArts team, I have contributed in several different ways. First of all jane and I were involved in the creation of a series of colorful buttons for the website itself, which are to be uploaded in the future, for visitors to choose the colorscheme of their profile. Moreover, I was part of the water conservation team, in which i contributed with bth ideas, and graphic pieces. Jane and I took the assignment to create posters that promote water conservation. We did a reasonable amount of research in the area, and have decided to base our work on an interesting bit of information that we found. That 24 hours of open tap equal to a year of a person’s drinking - in terms of the amount of water spent.

My teammates have contributed in similar ways, Jane and I were involved in mostly the same projects. Aron, Mellisa, and Nicole also did a lot of research, and some graphic work for the project. We helped each other both in terms of deign, and research. And I believe we managed to make the most we could out of this project, considering the fact, it was just a test.

2) If I had the chance to redesign zazengo, I would first of all amelliorate the navigation of the website.

Perhaps put the buttons that are “my profile”, “my organizatins” etc., on the side menu, and have them in a bit brighter color, something that will stand out more from the white background. so that people can easily find themselves.

Now, when you’re at a certain page, you wana know exactly where you’re at, because there are so many pages, so maybe the title f the page could be on the top, in such way that it is visible to the people. So you can tell, if you’re in “my profile”, or  “my organizations”.

Besides that, I would add something to the design, that will destinguish it from facebook.

Right now, it looks as a less popular imitation of facebook.

If the site is aimed to be nature-based, then perhaps add some picture of forests, to go with the general design, instead of plain blue color. and perhaps some illustration of nature as well- just to make it stand out.

Turn off the taps!

Turn off your taps! (promotion poster)

On average, one hour of running tap water equals to one year of drinking water for one person. Take that into consideration when you leave your tap running.
