The Riparian Investigation Promoting Place-basedLimnology Education – RIPPLE Water Festival is an outcome of DCA's Winning Water Festival, which was held on March 19, 2008 (www.winningwater.org).  Introduced by the Coastal Rivers Water Planning and Policy Center at Georgia Southern University, the educational event reaches out to every fourth grader within a county or school.  

The Georgia State-Wide Water Plan that was passed by general assembly last year encourages major water systems to provide educational outreach.  The Water Policy Center and Georgia Southern is leveraging the intellectual capital and resources of the university to provide a high quality program that water systems can join together to participate in.

Volunteers will serve as presenters, class guides, or event support staff in upcoming events.  Click on the events list to the right to volunteer at an upcoming event.
