We're coming full circle. In my childhood we didn't really eat food that was out of season. And here we are again, right back to only eating in season after eating strawberries in the dead of winter in Canada.
I saw this great message on the peaches in the Santa Cruz market:
Peaches grown 17.5 minutes from here.
Not only is organic important but how far it's driven as well.
