Project Summary:

Vancouver Women's Leadership Revival Tour April 29th

The Event:

This is an evening's exploration, conversation and celebration with Meg and many thoughtful women and men from the Vancouver community. Meg will seed the conversation by describing the impact that women are having in communities around the world, and then lead us in an inquiry about our own leadership. Beyond the inspiration of Meg's wonderful stories and experiences, you will be invited in small circles to encourage, provoke, and inspire one another so that the conversation can continue after the event.

Meg has said: "I believe that we can change the world if we start listening to one another again. Simple, honest, human conversation where we each have a chance to speak, where we each feel heard, and where we each listen well to our experiences, hopes and fears. This is how great changes begin." Our festive evening gathering will be enriched with music and poetry, and lively opportunities to network and meet.

Where: Vancouver Public Library, Alice McKay Room, 350 West Georgia, Vancouver, BC V6B 6B1.

When: April 29, 2008; 6:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. program with Meg Wheatley
