Factors could include contamination on the way to school or in between the tests. Also I had some unexplainable air bubles in the dissolved oxygen test.(How do you get air bubles when the water was overflowing before it was sealed?) The water softner was bypassed so the water shouldn't have been filtered on its way to the tap and therefore less chance of removing the chemicals I was testing.

My test results from North Gower
Coliform- negative
Dissolved Oxygen- my test shows 8 ppm...about a score of 3
Phosphate- about 1 ppm a score of 4
Nitrate- my test shows about 3-4 ppm, a score of 2
Ph- my test shows about 7-8 a score of 4
BOD Five Day- 8ppm - 7ppm = 1 ppm, a score of apx. 4
Okay...all around i think my water is okay which is good cause i drink it... if any of my results are off it is probably due to contamination of the bottle from water that was previously in it or using test tubes that were not properly cleaned

This water was obtained from the drinking fountain in the school and from the test results it seems to be good water for drinking. There is very low BOD, nitrate and phosphate in this water. The coliform tested negative which is a good thing because it is drinking water.
