CAMPAIGNS

WHY WOULD I CREATE A CAMPAIGN ON ZAZENGO?

If you have a project that is taking place in many different areas and would like to keep them in one location, a Campaign would be a good solution.

Also, if you have many different projects, but would like to place them under one theme, a Campaign may be the answer.

HOW DO I CREATE A CAMPAIGN?

To create a Campaign, you must create an Organization first.

Go to your Organization's profile page.
Next to the Campaign title, press Create a Campaign.



Fill in the appropriate fields:

Campaign Name. Enter your Campaign name.
Short description. Describe your Campaign with one sentence. Maximum 200 characters.
Description. Enter a detailed campaign description.
Image. Upload a campaign image.

Project, Campaign and Organization Approval. Check the box if you'd like to approve a Project, Campaign or Organization before it can associate with your campaign. If you don't check the approval boxes, anyone can associate with your campaign.

Associate with a Project, Campaign or Organization. If this campaign is associated with another Project, Campaign or Organization select from the list.

When complete, press "Create Campaign."

Note: In the near future, we will have the ability to Create a Campaign via the Create tab, but for now the only way to create is via an Organization.

HOW DO I LIST MY PROJECTS UNDER MY CAMPAIGN?

If you have already created Projects and would like to connect them with your Campaign, just press "Edit Project" located under Project Tools.

Under the "Associations" tab > Associated Projects enter the title of your project. A drop down will appear with matching project titles. Select your project and press Save.

WHAT DOES ASSOCIATE MEAN?

To Associate means to connect something wtih something else. When a Campaign associates with another Project, Campaign or Organization, it is "connecting" with them.

When associating, impacts will roll up to that Project, Campaign or Organization.

WHY WOULD I ASSOCIATE WITH ANOTHER CAMPAIGN OR ORGANIZATION?

To associate with another Campaign or Organization means to "connect" with them.

Maybe you are an Organization and you'd like to have your different Campaigns connected to the main Org and also to eachother. Associations allows this to happen.

In addition, Impacts roll up to the Organization or Campaign.

HOW DO OTHERS JOIN MY CAMPAIGN?

Anyone that is a member of the Projects a Campaign is associated with is part of the Campaign community.

CAN I PRINT REPORTS FOR MY CAMPAIGN?

Currently, members are not able to print reports via a Campaign.
We will be adding this ability in the near future.
