Make Arsenic History

In Bangladesh, millions of people have consumed large amounts of the toxic element arsenic. More than 35 million people suffer from arsenicosis, which is the effect of arsenic poisoning over long periods.

A recent World Bank survey estimated that 40% of the four million wells in Bangladesh contained significant contamination. Click here to see a map of the the green and red wells in Google Earth.
